Can’t believe I’ve been such a lazy bum (more like forgetful as heck) and haven’t posted about this yet! I am participating in the latest Bead Soup Blog Party being hosted by the amazing Lori Anderson.

This is my first time participating so needless to say I am beyond excited. So glad my friend found this event and also reminded me to sign up!

My partner for this round of the BSBP is Deanna Chase of Chase Designs. The point of the swap is to push your creativity to the limit by giving you new materials to work with that are outside of your typical style. Anyone who knows me well knows that I’m totally a gem stone girl. I dabble with Czech glass and crystal every now and then, but natural rocks and gemstones are my love.

So to say that I am super excited about the package that is on its way to me from Deanna is a vast understatement! I do not typically work with lampwork beads. Especially not ones that aren’t from some big box store. I cannot wait to be able to post and share what I receive and get to work with!

I hope my partner will enjoy the things I sent her. They are some of my favs and in my fav colors. I can’t say just yet what I sent so as to not ruin the surprise, but stay tuned! I’ll certainly be posting updates as the Party rolls on.

In other news, totally thrilled I got my package of supplies in today! I was in dire need of findings, chains, and a couple of different sets of pliers to help streamline my wire wrappings.

Expect some more great stuff soon! I’m swamped with getting ready for AnimeFest, so that means lots and lots of jewelry making!
